Fairplay Casino is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our website visitors and our customers. When you register an account at Fairplay Casino and accept the Terms & Conditions, you enter into a contractual agreement with FPO Gambling Ltd and its partners. To fulfill this agreement, FPO Gambling Ltd agrees to provide you with the use of our casino service. The registered player and Fairplay Casino both agree to abide by the Terms & Conditions accepted by the player, and failure to do so can result in either party terminating the contractual agreement: Fairplay Casino by permanently banning a customer, or the customer by requesting the permanent deactivation of his or her account.
To be able to provide you with our casino service, we collect personal and other types of information. This policy explains what types of information we collect, how we collect it, and what we do with it.
The data in our system is collected in 3 different ways:
Fairplay Casino saves and processes the personal information you enter into the registration form both for legal and regulatory reasons, and also to allow you to access and make use of our website, to allow you to participate in the services offered, to administer your account, to maintain our accounts and records, to monitor website usage levels and the quality of the service we provide and to inform you, from time to time, about products and services that we consider may interest you and for related purposes. If you do not wish to receive future marketing, promotional or sales material from Fairplay Casino, you may notify us that no such material is to be sent to you by opting out of marketing and promotions in the registration form when you register, or by visiting the account info page on the website at any time after registration. Should you no longer have access to your account, you can opt out by sending an email to email@example.com, and we will stop processing your data for marketing, promotional or sales purposes. Please note that you can only opt out of marketing and promotional communications: Transactional, system or legal messages (such as for example the KYC/documentation requests) are not optional.
We also save and process identification and payment method documents, which we need to do for legal and regulatory reasons.
2. Information we collect during your use of our services
We save every wager you place and every game result in order to remain compliant to MGA regulation, to be able to show these to you in your transaction history and in order to make it possible for our customer service to address any questions you might have about the outcome of a game.
3. Information collected by our software
Our system saves your IP address as well as the type of device and operating system on which you visit our website. There are legal and regulatory reasons to save your IP address, and other technical data helps us optimize the performance of our casino.
We collect, store and use the following kinds of personal data:
We do not store:
We have four different 4 reasons to collect and process your data:
iGaming is a highly regulated industry, with many laws and regulatory bodies involved in the protection of our customers. We are strictly prohibited by these laws to offer our casino services to anonymous or even dubiously identified individuals.
When a customer registers an account with Fairplay Casino, that customer enters into a contractual relationship with our company, FPO Gambling LTD, as well as with the company of our operator, Gammix Ltd. Upon registration, we request the legally required personal information which we need to open the account. This information must be verified by document submission at a certain specified time in the player life-cycle. Due to the overriding legal and regulatory requirements, all this information is required in order for us to be able to fulfill our contractual agreement, i.e. in order to continue providing you with the casino service.
This basis covers the collection and processing of peripheral data which, whilst not strictly speaking required by law or necessary to continue serving the casino service to you, helps us to prevent fraud, keep our product offering appealing to you, and make sure our casino is optimized for your enjoyment. None of the personal information we collect falls into this category, and we will of course always allow you to limit the amount of data we process for the purposes of legitimate interest.
We also use some of the data we collect and process in order to send our customers emails with personalized offers. To opt out of such usage, customers can simply leave the “promotional offers” checkbox on our registration form unchecked. Should customers have checked the box at their registration, they can always uncheck the box by logging into their account, navigating to their account, and unchecking the box next to the text “email me special offers”. Should a customer wish to opt out of promotional emails without logging back into the casino, they can do so by contacting customer service via our live chat or by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that only promotional emails can be opted out of in this fashion: Operational or transactional emails, such as our requests for identification documents for example, cannot be turned off.
How long do we store your data?
The length of time we save your data depends on our grounds for storing it.
We store this information for as long as the law demands.
We store this type of information for the duration of our contractual agreement (i.e. as long as the casino account is not explicitly closed) and up to 5 years thereafter.
As long as no written request to limit/delete this data is received, we save this data for the duration of our contractual agreement and up to 5 years thereafter.
Currently there is no piece of data which we collect purely for purposes which fall into the the basis of consent: All data which we could potentially use for the stated “Consent” purpose of sending promotional emails and optimizing special offers is also required by one of the other 3 bases for data collection. When customers choose to opt out of promotional materials, their data is simply no longer used for the purpose.
Apart from your right to limit or opt out of certain areas of data collection and/or processing (AKA “erasure” and “consent”, the GDPR outlines the following rights:
You have the right to know what data has been collected about you and how such data has been processed. To request a digital copy of all data we have collected on you, as well as how such data is stored and processed, please send an email from the email address with which you registered and verified the account to email@example.com.
You have the right to transfer personal data from one electronic processing system to and into another electronic processing system. To request such a data transfer, please send an email from the email address with which you registered and verified the account to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You have the right to make changes to inaccurate data! In fact we would love it if you do so, as we are obliged to keep your data as up-to-date as possible.
Information we collect is stored and processed within the European Union on the servers of our contractual partners, or the United States of America, also on the servers of our contractual partners, for the sole purpose of carrying out our contractual obligations. In the case of the United States of America, we only work with companies which participate in and comply with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework.
